14.11.2023   Added new photographs of the theme Run-the-river Power Plant Rheinau in the Canton of Zurich. All photos are only visible if you are logged in.

05.10.2023   Four new sizes have been added to the "Image size" filter function: "Over 169cm", "Over 254cm", "Over 338cm" and "Over 453cm". This makes it easy to find very high-resolution photographs which are suitable, for example, for a tradeshow booth with dense foot traffic (the smallest details are still brilliantly sharp at close range).

The currently largest available photograph is the image "Panorama Alpine alluvial plain Plaun Segnas Sut" with a resolution of 54'000 pixels at 300DPI in length which corresponds to 457cm image width.

Currently there are over 30 photographs available with over 169cm image width at 300 DPI. New photographs will be added continuously.

18.03.2023 Three new search filter functions are added: File Size, Bokeh / Background and Multiple Image. When activating the file size filter, only photographs that match this criterion are displayed (the photographs are usually slightly larger). When activating the bokeh/background filter, you can choose between different backgrounds of the stored photographs, from textfreespace, soft, hard, "watercolor" to bubble bokeh. With the filter "Textfreespace" photographs are defined, which have homogeneous areas at not defined place in the photograph, which is for the placement of Typo (title / writings etc.). With the search filter function Multiple image, when activated, images are displayed which are designed from several photographs (e.g. spring / summer / autumn / winter or earlier / today).

04.01.2023: Aerial photography: From 01.01.2023, the European regulations for drones will apply in Switzerland. This is now associated with registration as an operator of drones (UAV - Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and an examination as a remote pilot at the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). Yannick Andrea GmbH has the corresponding training and holds the licence for categories A1/A3 and A2.
